Aetheryte Locations for FFXIV Free Trial
- There are currently 53 Aetheryte Locations available in the FFXIV Free Trial.
- Aetherytes are the giant crystals found within towns. Attune to them and you’ll be able to Teleport or Return back to these. Aetherytes can be used to travel between Aethernet Shards after attuning to them. These are smaller crystals found within city-states and only work in the city that they are located. After attuning to all shards, additional locations will open up.
- You can assign one crystal to be your Home Point for the Return spell; this is free and can be used every 30 minutes. Teleport spells can be used an unlimited number of times and for any location. Teleporting requires a Gil fee based on distance, however.
- Players can register up to 3 different locations as favored destinations, which reduces the teleport fees. Additionally, if you set up a One Time Password (OTP) you can select one Aetheryte to be a free teleport location. Aetheryte Tickets also offer free, one time teleports.
- Aetheryte Crystals allow you to visit another World Server within your Data Center. To travel to another Data Center you’ll need to log out and do so from the character selection screen.
