Dungeons Checklist for FFXIV Free Trial

There are currently 64 Dungeons available in the FFXIV Free Trial.
A Dungeon is a large instanced duty filled with enemies and bosses. These require groups to participate in and parties typically consist of 4 players: A Tank, Healer and 2 DPS.
Dungeons are unlocked through both the Main Scenario Quests and Content Unlock Quests (Blue Quests). You won’t need to search for MSQ related duties, you’ll reach them eventually.
Dungeons have both Minimum Level and Item Level requirements which you must meet before entering. They also have a Max Level. If a player is above the maximum they will be Synced down to the appropriate levels.
With the settings found at the top of the Duty Finder menu, it’s possible to run dungeons as an Undersized Party and Unsynced. This means that you’ll be able to run instances solo, if preferred, and without lowering your levels. There’s other settings such as Minimum IL which let you do duties at the lowest stats possible, for more of a challenge.
Instead of players, some dungeons can be run with NPCs by going through the Duty Support menu. This lets you to run duties at your own pace, skip queue times, claim all of the loot, and just practice for real parties. Alternatively, once unlocked, you can also use Grand Company Squadron NPCs. Squadrons work a bit differently in that you need to actually train them.
