Resources and Links
This page lists various resources for Final Fantasy XIV that could be useful for sprouts. This includes various official links, along with community created tools and websites. However, this is not a complete list of everything out there. Every link on this page is what I personally consider helpful, with Free Trial players in mind.
Also, be sure to check out our Third Party Tools guide for some other in-game tools and resources.

A website filled with guides, checklists and resources for the Final Fantasy XIV Free Trial and it’s new players. It’s the website that you’re viewing now! Check out our Discord Community, and share with your friends! ♥
A website for tracking all of the big fish in Final Fantasy XIV. One of the best resources for fishing that includes timers, weather tracking, bait requirements and more. If you’re trying to catch all the fish in the game, I highly recommend this!
Provides a handful of useful tools. Personally, I use the Ocean Fishing tracker often, it’s one of the best ocean fishing resources that I’ve found. The Chocobo Color Calculator can be useful if you can access housing stables and gardens.
Shows crowd sourced market board information. This is the only way for free trial players to get a glimpse of item prices. It may be helpful for sprouts looking to resell things later, or if you’re just curious about the value of your items.
Use this website to compare different gear sets and find the BiS for your class. Find your ideal armor, weapons and tools, complete with stat totals. I recommend reading our guide on Free Trial Gear first, you can view examples there too.
One of the best resources for information. It’s a large wiki that’s a better alternative to the official Eorzea Database, consisting of a more complete database than the original. Look up information about items, minions, quests, and much more.
If you’re lucky enough to have access to gardens in housing plots, you can use this website to learn about all about gardening. Learn where to collect the seeds, and how to crossbreed for rare crops.
The go-to place for glamour inspiration. Browse by gears sets for the original looks, or browse community made outfits for something more creative. You can sort by level, jobs, content type, among other options.
A website for tracking timed gathering nodes. Timers are available for both miner and botanist, for all timed locations; such as unspoiled, folklore and ephemeral nodes. Folklore are the legendary nodes – useful for ARR Relic materia farming.
