Trials Checklist for FFXIV Free Trial

There are currently 57 Trials available in the FFXIV Free Trial.
A Trial is a small instanced duty in which you must defeat a single boss. Parties typically consist of 8 players, although some of the early Trials are an exception.
Trials are unlocked through both the Main Scenario Quests and Content Unlock Quests (Blue Quests). You won’t need to search for MSQ related duties, you’ll reach them eventually.
Dungeons have both Minimum Level and Item Level requirements which you must meet before entering. They also have a Max Level. If a player is above the maximum they will be Synced down to the appropriate levels.
With the settings found at the top of the Duty Finder menu, it’s possible to run trials as an Undersized Party and Unsynced. This means that you’ll be able to run instances solo, if preferred, and without lowering your levels. There’s other settings such as Minimum IL which let you do duties at the lowest stats possible, for more of a challenge.
